Murder in Racine: Woman stabs boyfriend, man dies during operation

RACINE, Wis. – A 25-year-old man is dead after a stabbing in Racine on Monday, September 2. A woman was arrested.

According to police, officers were dispatched to a residence near 17th Street and Howe shortly before 11 p.m. because a robbery was taking place.

When police arrived at the scene, they spoke with a 22-year-old woman who told officers that she had stabbed her boyfriend. Before police arrived, the 25-year-old boyfriend was taken to the hospital by friends.

The victim was flown by helicopter to Milwaukee, where he succumbed to his injuries during surgery.

The woman was arrested and charged with first-degree manslaughter.
