Cruel crime in Bihar: Young girl kidnapped, raped and murdered

In a tragic incident that has sparked outrage, a six-year-old girl was allegedly abducted, raped and murdered by two youths in Gaya district of Bihar, authorities confirmed on Tuesday.

After the heinous act, the accused left her body on the bank of Morhar river in Uchirvan village under the jurisdiction of Sherghati police station. Both the suspects were arrested.

According to the complaint filed by the victim's family, the girl was abducted from her house while she was sleeping, sexually assaulted and then murdered on Monday night. The district police issued a statement detailing the crime and their swift response, including arrest and questioning of the suspects. The locals, angry over the crime, beat up one of the accused and protested at the police station. A postmortem was conducted and charges of abduction, gang rape and murder were filed against the accused.
