Send a memo to the collector

On Monday, senior Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) leader Guddu Raja Bundela met Sagar Collector with a Congress delegation and lodged a complaint against a Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) worker for saying before party candidate Lata Wankhede in the Lok Sabha elections in Sagar that he himself had cast 15 votes for the BJP, a video of which has also gone viral. “The release of this video, in which BJP worker and Sagar MP Lata Wankhede raises no objection to the same, proves that hundreds of thousands of fake votes were cast using similar methods to give the BJP candidate the victory.”

The party stated, As alleged by the MPCC, BJP won the last Lok Sabha elections by misusing power and destroying democracy across the state, which is now accepted even by the BJP leaders. Notably, in the Lok Sabha elections in Sagar, Lata Wankhede contested as BJP candidate while Congress party had fielded Guddu Raja Bundela from the constituency. In this context, Bundela said that the electoral process is a democratic system which means voting should be conducted in an absolutely fair manner but the cases of vote rigging by the BJP which have come to light cannot ensure fair elections. According to information, Bundela has demanded that the election of BJP MP Wankhede from Sagar be declared invalid by taking note of the points of the memorandum submitted to the Election Collector, Sagar and taking action. Former MP and District Rural Congress leader Anand Ahirwar, City Congress leader Rajkumar Pachauri and former minister Surendra Chaudhary were also present at the handover of the memorandum.
