Shots fired near Wildwood Ln. Police investigation ongoing

LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) – On Monday, September 2nd, around 7 p.m., shots were fired and reported near Wildwood Ln.

Laredo Police are currently investigating the scene and have dispatched patrol units to the area.

Nearby residents told KGNS+ that they heard about five gunshots.

Laredo police investigator Joe Baeza said it was not an accident and that gunshots had been reported, but nothing has been found so far.

Cartridge casings and handcuffs were found on the ground at the crime scene and were collected by the police during further investigations.
