Podcast host Drew Afulo shows off her huge rock as she announces her engagement to longtime boyfriend Pili Tanuvasa: 'Cried for an hour'

Drew Afulo finally has a ring on her finger after years of dating her boyfriend Pili Tanusava. On September 2, the influencer shared this important milestone in her life on Instagram and TikTok. The news was also shared on social media by her partner Tanusava, a fitness and lifestyle trainer, who made sure to highlight the engagement ring in all her pictures.

Full of happiness, Afulo wrote: “I'm going to marry you so much big buddy @ptanuvasa (I cried so hard and for an hour y'all I'm so in love and happy it's actually crazy BYE)#SPACHLOSSTAGRAM”

In the first two pictures shared, the couple hugged with their eyes closed as she showed off her engagement ring and a bouquet of roses. She stood behind Tanuvasa, kneeling on a bed covered with crimson rose petals.

In one of the solo photos from the set, Afualo held the bouquet and placed her palm in front of her forehead to highlight a cushion-cut diamond ring. She also shared a picture of the ring with the romantically decorated bed in the background, with a heart-shaped arrangement of rose petals.

Afulo, a content creator, rose to online fame in early 2020 by skillfully destroying misogynists with scathing roasts. On TikTok, Afulo frequently posted encouraging and humorous messages against misogyny.

She has also opened up about her relationship with Tanuvasa, often sharing about her travels, meetings and relationship on social media.

Her partner, Pili Tanuvasa, is a fitness coach originally from the Pacific Islands and born in the United States. Like Afualo, he is from Southern California. He played football in college and began working as a fitness coach after completing his freshman year. Since 2024, he has run his gym in California and serves a diverse clientele.
