On September 2, 2024, at around 5:50 p.m., a traffic accident with injuries occurred on Hallerstrasse in the city of Innsbruck between a motorcyclist and a car driver.

A 69-year-old Austrian woman was driving a car westward along Hallerstrasse. She used the left lane and wanted to turn around over the barrier line there. To do so, she braked the vehicle and turned left. Behind her was a 28-year-old German motorcyclist. He braked and tried to swerve to the left to avoid the car, but was unable to do so. He then collided with the left side of the car and fell. He suffered injuries of an unknown degree and was taken to the Innsbruck hospital by ambulance. Both vehicles suffered considerable material damage.
