“Not a terrorist attack,” says the army about the death of a soldier at the Sunjwan military station

Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir) [India]September 2 (ANI): The Indian Army has said that the incident in which a soldier was killed at Sunjwan military station in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday morning was not a terrorist attack.

According to official information, the army has launched an investigation into the case.

“Initial investigations by the Indian Army suggest that the incident in which a soldier was killed this morning was not a terrorist attack. The cause of the soldier's death is being investigated,” army officials said on Monday.

Earlier, it was reported that the soldier sustained injuries in a gunfight at Jammu's Sunjwan air base on Monday morning. (ANI)
