Odisha launches dedicated web portal for flagship ‘Subhadra Yojana’ scheme – ThePrint – PTIFeed

Bhubaneswar, Sept 2 (PTI) – Ahead of the official launch of Odisha's flagship Subhadra Yojana for women, the state government on Monday launched a special web portal with information about the scheme.

The portal was launched by Deputy Prime Minister Pravati Parida, who is also in-charge of the Women and Child Development Department.

He said that all the information, including eligibility criteria and application procedure, is detailed on the portal. Candidates can also submit their complaints there.

Parida said women could register for the program for free starting September 4.

The programme will be implemented for five years, from financial years 2024–25 to 2028–29.

The state government has allocated an outlay of Rs 55,825 crore for the scheme and the beneficiaries under the scheme will be paid Rs 10,000 into their bank accounts in two instalments every year.

The first instalment will be paid to the beneficiaries on September 17, the official launch date. PTI AAM RBT
