Sanjay Dutt to join Ajay Devgn in Punjab for 'Son of Sardaar 2'? Shooting to begin in October

Excitement is building around the upcoming film Son of Sardar 2, especially with recent reports claiming that Sanjay Dutt will join Ajay Devgn and the cast to begin shooting in Punjab in October 2024. Devgn, who is known for his close friendship with Dutt, has reportedly done everything humanly possible to ensure his friend's participation in this much-awaited sequel.

Although Sanjay had to miss the shoot in the UK due to visa issues, which raised doubts about his role in the film, Dainik Bhaskar's latest update confirms that he will still play a significant role. Fans can look forward to seeing the popular duo Ajay and Sanjay together on screen again.

The report also reveals that Son of Sardaar 2 will not be connected to its predecessor. The sequel will feature a role with elements reminiscent of the character Vasooli Bhai and will feature a dramatic gang war between Bihari and Punjabi dons. Moreover, Ravi Kishan's original character, which was initially assigned to Vijay Raaz, has now been finalized for Sanjay Mishra.

Dutt will be seen in the role of Don and will add depth and suspense to the storyline. Fans can expect dynamic action sequences set against the vibrant backdrop of Punjab, promising a visual and emotional treat.

The film is currently being shot in the UK and stars Mrunal Thakur and Ajay Devgn in lead roles. The film also features an ensemble cast of talented actors including Vindu Dara Singh, Chunky Panday, Sanjay Mishra, Neeru Bajwa, Deepak Dobriyal, Mukul Dev, Kubbra Sait, Sharat Saxena, Ashwini Kalsekar and Roshni Walia.

In a recent interview with The Times of India, Vindu Dara Singh confirmed that he is currently shooting for 'Son of Sardaar 2' with Devgn. He spoke about their long-standing friendship and stated that they have been close since childhood.

Talking about the film, Vindu mentioned that while the title remains the same, the plot is different. He described it as a fantastic and highly entertaining film full of humour that will enthrall the audience. Vindu also highlighted the excitement among the fans, noting that they have been eagerly awaiting the sequel for a long time and it will finally hit the theatres next year.
