Jeff Lynne's Electric Light Orchestra played the first show of his last US tour

Jeff Lynne's Electric Light Orchestra played the first show of his latest tour of the United States. The Over And Out Tour began on Saturday with a 21-song set at the 11,000-seat Acrisure Arena in Thousand Palms in Riverside County, California.

The date was the first of a massive 31-date US tour that includes two shows at Madison Square Garden in New York in mid-September and culminates with two shows at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles in late October. Supporting LA rockers Rooney are the band. Full dates can be found below.

The setlist is, as expected, packed with ELO hits, from the opening track of the band’s self-titled debut from 1971, 10538 Overture to Calling America, from 1986 Balance of power. Perhaps surprisingly, there was no room for material from Jeff Lynne's recent ELO albums. The full setlist is below.

The tour continues tomorrow night (August 27) at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, WA.
