Rape: Man arrested for raping and blackmailing a 19-year-old |

Kanpur: A man was arrested in Etawah for blackmail and rape of a 19 years old Woman after secretly video while she was bathing.
The defendant then used the video to blackmail and sexually abuse the rape victim.
According to the complaint made by the woman's father, Ashish, who frequently visited the couple's house, had recorded the video without the young woman's knowledge.
The accused showed her the video and when she asked him to delete it, Ashish threatened to make the video viral and started blackmailing her.
On August 28, at around 10 p.m., the accused, accompanied by two friends, reached the woman's house and forcibly took her home in a car.
From there, he took her to a relative's house in a village in the Bharthana area, where he raped her.
Inspector-in-charge A. Ahirwar confirmed that a report under Section 64 of the Indian Penal Code was filed against the accused on Saturday evening based on the complaint of the woman's father. “Police are currently making efforts to arrest the accused,” he added.
