USC hype video before LSU game excites college football fans

Nothing gets football fans excited for game day like a well-made hype video, and USC's social team accomplished that goal on Sunday with the video it released before their Week 1 game against LSU.

The video begins by showing Trojan warriors on a battlefield before the camera zooms in on a giant Trojan Horse in the background to reveal a glimpse inside where more warriors are hiding, revealing themselves to be USC football players. When the camera zooms out again, the players are in a plane and one jumps out and lands in the middle of the LA Memorial Coliseum.

The video is really well done. If that doesn't excite you, I don't know what else will.

There is one problem with the video, however, and some fans couldn't bear to enjoy the awesomeness of the editing: there were never any Trojans inside the Trojan Horse.

In fact, according to mythology, the Trojan Horse was the downfall of Troy. The Greeks constructed the giant horse to advance into Troy during the Trojan War. Once inside the city, the Greeks opened the gates inside the horse to let the Greek army in and take the city.

USC didn't let that stop them from making a good hype video, so the reactions were mostly positive, with a little confusion in between.
