Goya CEO accuses Biden-Harris administration of involvement in child and drug trafficking at the border

Goya Foods CEO Robert Unanue accused the Harris-Biden administration of being “complicit” in child and human trafficking through its lack of control of the southern border.

Unanue made the claim after criticizing Vice President Kamala Harris' focus on “price controls” on food and other goods.

“How about the United States, instead of being a complicit middleman in child trafficking, human trafficking and drug trafficking, put an end to it and control our borders,” Unananue said Sunday in an interview on WABC's “The Cats Roundtable.”

The business leader said he met with Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele and praised his crackdown on gang members, which has seen thousands of thugs jailed for terrorizing the country's citizens.

But dozens of members of the notorious MS-13 gang from El Salvador have crossed the border into the USA and are now terrorising the residents there, including other migrants from El Salvador.

“The horses are already out of the barn. And these gang members and these gang members from Venezuela and other countries are in our country, devastating suburbs and scaring people,” says Inanue, CEO of New Jersey-based Latino food giant Goya since 2004.

He said some Salvadorans who had fled to the United States now wanted to return “due to security concerns” and harassment by MS-13 thugs.

“Of course, El Salvador is not an economic paradise,” said the food magnate.

Unanue is a staunch supporter of former President Trump, the Republican nominee, and delivered a speech at the Republican National Convention in July.

He provoked a boycott of Goya Foods after saying in a 2020 White House speech: “We are all truly blessed to have a leader like President Trump.”

Goya Foods' board of directors reprimanded Unanue in 2021 after he questioned the legitimacy of the 2020 presidential election and banned him from making public statements without board approval.

But Unanue is now publishing a book called “Blessed Be Donald J. Trump and the Spiritual War: How the Battle for the Soul of This Country Began with a Word.”

To support his argument in his book, he argued that Trump survived an assassination attempt at a rally in Pennsylvania on July 13 and “turned his head at the right moment.”

“I believe God has put his hand on Donald Trump and this nation,” he said, while “this government [Harris-Trump] destroyed it.”

He also sharply criticized the Harris-Biden administration for stopping construction of the Keystone pipeline to expand oil supplies from Canada to the United States and called the Green New Deal “crazy.”

There was no immediate comment from Harris' campaign team.
