Will the Bengals and Ja'Marr Chase reach a contract extension before Week 1?

The regular season is fast approaching. In one week, the Cincinnati Bengals will begin their 2024 season against the New England Patriots.

We've also seen some teams try to extend the contracts of some of their key players before the start of Week 1. The Bengals are in that camp as the team and star wide-out Ja'Marr Chase are currently trying to reach an extension to keep Chase in the Queen City for the foreseeable future.

This week has been quite the whirlwind: Chase returned for two practices at the beginning of the week, but then skipped the following two practices, leading some to speculate that he might sit out Week 1. Next week will be crucial to ensuring Chase stays in Cincinnati for quite some time.
