Russia-Ukraine war: Ukraine launches massive drone attack on Russian power plant, Moscow shoots down over 150 drones – The Economic Times Video

Russia said on Sunday it had prevented a large-scale drone attack by Ukraine, intercepting and shooting down 158 drones in 15 regions, including two over the capital Moscow. The attack reportedly targeted a coal-fired power plant near the city and an oil refinery within the city limits. A local official reported three drones attempted to attack the Kashira coal-fired power plant. The official said “there were no casualties or damage,” adding that customers continued to receive electricity “properly.” Russian news agencies also reported a fire at Moscow's Kapotnya oil refinery, although Mayor Sergei Sobyanin confirmed there were no casualties or damage. Most of the drones, 122 in total, were neutralized over the Kursk, Bryansk, Voronezh and Belgorod regions bordering Ukraine, according to the Russian Defense Ministry. The region's governor, Alexander Bogomaz, said: “Our defenders are repelling an attempted massive drone attack on the territory of the Bryansk region.”
