Nanded youth stabs woman to death: Nanded youth stabs woman to death after argument and then hangs himself | Aurangabad News

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: A Laboratory Assistant (25) is said to have stabbed his girlfriend (38), with whom he was allegedly in a illicit relationshipon Saturday and later died of suicide by hanging himself.
The incident occurred after the accused went to the victim's house and asked her to accompany him. When she refused to go, an argument broke out, following which he pulled out a sharp weapon and stabbed her.
The victim, identified as Ambika Shinde, was married to another man and had an 11-year-old child from the marriage. The accused was identified as Santosh Alewad of Lalwandi village in Nayegaon.
The alleged murder took place near the residence of the employer doctor in Bandaghat.
When contacted, Inspector Parmeshwar Kadam said, “The incident took place when Santosh approached her and allegedly insisted that she should accompany him. When she refused, an argument broke out between the two. The accused allegedly stabbed her multiple times.” The injured woman was rushed to the hospital where she breathed her last.
Citing preliminary investigation, police said the duo were employed in a private hospital in Nanded, where the woman was employed as a support worker and the accused as a laboratory assistant. They became friends and eventually entered into a relationship, police said. Recently, their family members came to know about the relationship, following which they imposed strict restrictions on both of them.
On learning about the incident, the police launched a manhunt for the accused and reached his hometown, where he was found hanging from a tree in his farm. A case of murder was registered with Wazirabad police, while a case of accidental death was registered within Nayegaon limits.
