Security officer: Security officer and man stabbed to death in Misrod | Bhopal News

Bhopal: Two young men allegedly attacked A Security service And stabbed him with a knife in a posh colony in the Misrod town after midnight on Saturday. Another man who intervened to break up the fight and rescue the security guard was also injured in the attack. Both injured men were taken to a private hospital for treatment.
Based on the complaint, Misrod police have filed charges against the accused and launched a manhunt to arrest the culprits. Following the incident, local residents gathered outside the Misrod police station on Saturday morning and demanded action against the accused.
Witnesses heard the assailants addressing each other as Sumit and Aniket. Police said that the complainant, Satyam Kaurav, 22, works as a security guard. He hails from Narsinghpur district and currently resides in Katara Hills. He is employed as a security guard in the Eastern County Colony in Bagli Misrod. His duties include regularly questioning people entering and leaving the colony at the main gate and entering their details in a register.
He stated that on the night of August 8, he questioned some young men living in one of the colony's apartments, which led to a physical altercation. Satyam had informed the colony's residents about the incident, but did not file an official report at the time.
He further stated that on Saturday after midnight, when he was on duty around 1 am, two youths approached him and started abusing him for the previous interrogation. When Satyam protested, one of the men started hitting him with his fists while the other stabbed him multiple times with a knife. Satyam suffered more than half a dozen stab wounds. Hearing his screams, Vinay Tiwari, who works in a nearby restaurant, rushed to help but was also stabbed. Vinay was injured in the lower back area.
Local residents rushed to the scene and forced the attackers to flee. The injured were taken to a nearby private hospital by local residents.
