While cover songs in other casting shows are often judged better the further they deviate from the original and the more convincing the individual interpretation is, “The Tribute” is primarily about similarity.

After “The Voice of Germany”, Sat.1 is now looking for Germany's best cover band. The broadcaster is getting help from Panikorchester legend Bertram Engel, Yvonne Catterfeld and ESC icon Conchita Wurst. The participants are judged on their voice, performance and sound. The winner will receive a great prize: a concert in front of up to 5,000 spectators at the Ruhr Congress in Bochum.
