Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time: Rumor about part 5: Spyro would have been playable

The canceled Crash Bandicoot 5 allegedly included a playable Spyro.

Some time ago it was reported that Crash Bandicoot 5 had been put on ice. Even though the game will probably not be released, a few more details have come to light. But be careful: these are of course mostly rumors, which you should, as always, view with the appropriate skepticism.

Just recently, YouTube channel DidYouKnowGaming reported that after the release of Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, a small team was entrusted with developing a fifth installment. However, this same report only said that Crash Bandicoot 5 was worked on for a few months before the project was canceled – allegedly due to the poor sales of the fourth installment.

The video also shows that Crash Bandicoot 5 will probably include a playable Spyro the Dragon. According to this, after the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, the worlds of Spyro and Crash would have collided and they would have had to act together against an oversized threat.
