School bus driver: School bus driver gropes minor girl and holds her | Lucknow News

Lucknow: A six-year-old student of LKG was sexually harassed by a school bus driver in the city on Thursday.
“The incident was reported to the Gudamba police on Thursday, after which the police filed a complaint and arrested The accused, identified as Vimlesh Kumar Verma, was arrested the same day,” DCP, North Zone, Abhijit R Shankar said on Friday. He added that the man has been booked under the POCSO Act and relevant sections of the BNS.
The girl's parents said the accused (52) had been harassing their daughter for over a month. They said their six-year-old daughter was studying at a private school in Gayatri Puram. “On Thursday, when she returned from school, she was very disturbed and did not even eat anything. When we asked her what happened, she told us that the driver touched her daily,” the girl's family members told the police. The girl also told her mother that the bus driver had threatened to kill her if she dared to tell anyone.
