Greenfield Expressways: PWD gets approval for DPRs of 8 Greenfield Expressways | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The Ministry of Finance has given its approval to the building authority (People with disabilities) to prepare detailed project reports (DPRs) for eight Greenfield expressways Connecting various smaller and larger cities in the state.
Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari had announced construction of nine such greenfield expressways as part of the state budget. “The necessary approval for the DPRs to construct eight new greenfield expressways with a total length of 2,406 km has been granted to PWD. Kumari said that these eight new greenfield expressways will be constructed in phases as part of the implementation of Budget 2024-2025. An amount of Rs 30 crore has been sanctioned for the DPRs of the eight expressways,” a government press release said.
Kumari said the construction of these expressways would boost the economic development of the state. The fast and direct connection would encourage investments in the state. TNN

Swift action enabled them to bring him back safely. The man, who was battling personal problems, was later brought home by his family. No charges have been filed.
