Child star Gary Coleman may have been murdered by a family member, claims sensational documentary

A sensational new documentary claims that child star of 'Diff'rent Strokes' Gary Coleman may have been murdered, suggesting that none other than his own wife was responsible for the heinous act.

The explosive allegations are addressed in Peacock's “Gary,” which premiered August 29 and explores the tragic life and mysterious death of the child who captivated America with his catchphrase, “What are you talking about, Willis?”

Coleman died on May 28, 2010, two days after a mysterious fall in his home resulted in intracranial hemorrhage and cardiac arrest.

Coleman's death at the age of 42 was officially classified as an accident, but close friends now say it was the fault of others – and blame his now widow, Shannon Price.

However, his wife has always denied these allegations, saying: “I didn't touch him… nothing happened.”

But Coleman's ex Anna Gray doesn't believe him: “I think Price's actions speak volumes and I don't need to say more.”

The sensational documentary provides a deep insight into Price and her actions on that fateful day.

A harrowing 911 call reveals that Price refused to help her bleeding husband.

She then fled the scene, saying she did not want to be “traumatized.”

Price did not accompany Coleman to the hospital and later pulled the plug after only two days – against Coleman’s express written wishes.

In addition, Price even sold Coleman's death photograph – a move that a friend describes as “depraved”.

While there is no definitive evidence, “Gary” leaves viewers wondering if the popular child star’s death was really just a tragic accident.

While police classify the death as an accident, his close friend Darren Nord describes the incident as “suspicious.”

His long-time friend Dion Mial also said: “We were completely at a loss because there were far too many questions without answers.”

His other friends Darren Nord and Brandi Buys, who knew Coleman in his final years, also said his death was suspicious.

The documentary also delves into Coleman's troubled past, including allegations that his parents embezzled millions of his earnings.

Before his death, the actor was in hospital for the third time within a year due to several seizures.

The 1.42 m tall star's growth was hampered by a congenital kidney defect and he had also undergone two kidney transplants.

Coleman played the little rascal Arnold Jackson and his famous line “What you talkin' 'bout Willis?” became a pop culture catchphrase.

But he was never able to recapture the fame he had enjoyed as a child and teenager. As an adult, he appeared in various shows, but much of his work was released straight to video.

Yet he still made headlines frequently – usually for the wrong reasons.

In 2007, he was arrested after a “heated argument” with his wife. Utah police charged him with disorderly conduct.

Two years later, in July 2009, he and Price were again involved in a domestic dispute, as a result of which his wife was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence.

His temper got him in trouble again in 2010 when he was arrested for domestic violence. This time he spent a night in jail.

Coleman lost most of his fortune in a lengthy legal battle with his adoptive parents, who controlled his assets until he turned 18. In the end, he was left with only $200,000.

In April 2022, actress Molly Shannon claimed she was sexually harassed by the late “Diff'rent Strokes” actor.

The 57-year-old actress made the allegations during an appearance on the Howard Stern Show and detailed her harrowing experience with Coleman.

Shannon said the incident occurred in 1987 after she signed a contract with agent Mark Randall, who also represented Coleman.

She claims she went to tea with Randall and Coleman at the Plaza Hotel in New York before being invited to see the “Diff'rent Strokes” star's presidential suite.

Shortly thereafter, Shannon says, her agent left the room – and at that point, she claims, Coleman’s behavior became predatory and “relentless.”

Shannon said Coleman, who played Arnold Jackson in “Diff'rent Strokes” from 1978 to 1986, initially seemed “very sweet” and invited her to sit on a bed in the room before he began tickling her.

“Then he tried to kiss me and get on top of me, and I just said, 'No, Gary, stop,'” she told Stern.

Shannon said she eventually “sprinted” out of the hotel room and warned her agent to keep a closer eye on the actor.
