Cyclist suffers minor injuries after collision with car in Duluth

Duluth Police report they were called to a crash involving a car and a bicycle in the area of ​​the 2700 block of W Michigan Street around 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 29.

“Initial information indicates that the cyclist was traveling east when a vehicle entered the parking lot in the right-turn lane and did not see the cyclist because another vehicle was blocking the view,” said Mattie Hjelseth, spokesperson for the department. “Then the two collided.”

According to Hjelseth, the cyclist suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured.
