Suri Cruise is a freshman at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.

Daughter Katie Holmes told Town & Country magazine last month that her 18-year-old will study acting and dance.

Tom Cruise's estranged child can choose from over 100 theater arts courses at the prestigious School Of Drama.

Some include yoga, singing, dancing and the Alexander Technique.

As DailyMail.com has learned, there is also a class called Stanley Kubrick and his films, where the sex cult film of her father Tom “Eyes Wide Shut” with then-wife Nicole Kidman from 1999 is examined.

And there are already plays lined up that Suri will likely audition for, having been in the plays throughout her high school career: one has to do with Mary-Kate Olsen and another is about the passengers of the Titanic.

The course description reads: “Stanley Kubrick and his films. Stanley Kubrick and his films explore the astonishing diversity in the work of this outstanding film director from 1967 to 1999.”

“The course will highlight the psychological and moral issues raised in his films. And the course will focus on his camera techniques, his use of sound and music, and other notable innovative elements.”

“With each film, Kubrick seems to reinvent himself and expand the dimensions of film art. Films shown in class include: 'Paths to Glory' (1957), 'Lolita' (1962), 'Dr. Strangelove' (1964), '2001: A Space Odyssey' (1968), 'A Clockwork Orange' (1971), 'Barry Lyndon' (1976), 'The Shining' (1980), 'Full Metal Jacket' (1987) and 'Eyes Wide Shut' (1999).”

There are many other pieces she can work on and she There are big names associated with it in one way or another.

The first play is John Proctor Is The Villain, a play about teenagers reading The Crucible. The play will be shown in Helen Wayne Rauh Theater from 14 to 23 November 2024.

Also available is “Mr. Burns: A Post Electric Play,” which runs November 20-23. It is “an imaginative black comedy that explores how the pop culture of one era might evolve into the mythology of another.”

In 2025 there will be even more plays like “Ghosts”, “The Inseparables” and “Titanic The Musical”.

There are also student-directed shows called “Studio Series.”

Twelfth Night, Or What You Will runs September 26-28. Next is Gloria, set in the offices of a New York magazine, which runs October 23-26. Then Lorac In A Green Dress runs November 20-23.

Next year will see “Mary-Kate Olsen Is In Love” by Mallery Avidon, directed by Anya Hilpert. The performance will take place from April 23 to 25, 2025 at the John Wells Video Studio. It is a black comedy about finding out what it actually means to be “happy.”

“Knowledge and a basic understanding of the components of acting.”

“Basic exercises, improvisations and prepared work for relaxation, concentration, imagination, communication,” says the description on the website.

“The ability to represent the reality of a given situation in theatrical language. Craft fundamentals in preparation for rehearsing a scene. The beginning development of students' creative resources. This course is open to drama students only.”

The drama school also offers speech lessons.

“The course introduces students to the pronunciation of Standard American English as presented by Edith Skinner in her textbook SPEAK WITH DISTINCTION,” the website states.

Then there is a course called “Voice for the Stage”.

And a course called “Movement: ‘Kinesthetic awareness and responsiveness are developed through the introduction of the Viewpoints method of physical training. The importance of physical expressiveness and specificity in storytelling is achieved through the creation of compositions based on physical movements.

She could also take the course “Creating a Choreopoem”.

“In this course we will focus on the genre of drama created by Ntozake Shange – the choreopoem. A choreopoem can be briefly defined as storytelling with movement, an act of rebellion.”

There is a dramaturgy forum, dance, singing and jazz.
