Jacek Dembinski: Aberdeen man dies in hospital after stabbing in apartment block | UK news

A suspect has appeared in court accused of murdering a man who died in hospital following a stabbing in an Aberdeen block of flats.

Jacek Dembinski, 44, was found with serious injuries outside Rosehill Court at around 4.30pm on Tuesday.

Mr. Dembinski from the city was Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where he died on Thursday.

In a statement released by the police ScotlandHis family said: “Jacek was a very loved son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and stepfather.

“We will all miss him very much. We ask that you respect our privacy as a family during this difficult time.”

Dawid Majewicz, 43, was arrested and charged in connection with Mr Dembinski’s death.

When Majewicz appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Thursday, he did not plead to the murder charge.

The suspect, who is from the city, was taken into custody and must appear in court again within the next eight days.

A Scottish Police spokesman said: “A report has been sent to the Crown Prosecution Service.”
