Police investigate double murder – The MoCo Show

Montgomery County police are investigating a double homicide that occurred Thursday morning on Southlawn Lane in Rockville.

At 9:18 a.m., MCPD reported that 1st District officers were on the scene of a double shooting in the 14900 block of Southlawn Lane. MCPD later announced that the incident was now being investigated as a homicide.

According to Alert Montgomery – “Severe Traffic Alert: Due to a police investigation, eastbound Norbeck Road (MD-28) is closed between East Gude Drive and Avery Road. Additionally, Southlawn Lane is closed in both directions between East Gude Drive and Southlawn Court. This is a lengthy closure, expect significant delays. Look for an alternative route.”
