Roseburg police arrested a man on Tuesday for criminal damage.

An RPD report said officers were called to a business in the 1900 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard shortly after 8 a.m. after a caller found two broken windows. Officers also discovered a broken window frame at a second business.

From video from that store, officers were able to identify the suspect as a 70-year-old man who was arrested earlier that morning after breaking a window at a store in the 300 block of West Harvard Avenue. Paul Danford was ultimately charged with two counts of first-degree criminal damage and one count of second-degree criminal damage. He was taken into custody on $5,000 bail.
