What is the story

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who is about to release her next Hindi film Emergencyreceived death threats and called for a boycott of the film.

Certain Sikh groups claimed that the film “hurts the Sikh martyrs” and demanded a ban on Ranaut's direction.

In a recent interview with Aaj TakThe actor was questioned about the threats.

This is how she answered.

“These people can’t scare me,” says Ranaut

“If I back out, they will silence all the artists”

She continued: “Kyunki agar mai piche hatt gayi toh yeh log jo hai kal ko kisi bhi artist who eats meat, You sabko dara dhamka ke chup kara de aur usko karke apni ek alag Story Subscribe (If I resign, these people will not allow any artist to rise tomorrow. They will silence everyone and in doing so they will write another chapter of history in their own way.)”

Emergency The worldwide release is scheduled for September 6th.

The release, originally scheduled for June, was postponed due to Ranaut's participation in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

The star cast includes Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair and Milind Soman.

The actor and director plays the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in this film, which revolves around the controversial state of emergency that Gandhi imposed between 1975 and 1977.
