Dog attack in Harris County: Woman and 2-year-old child attacked by pit bull

HOUSTON – A pit bull was taken into custody after a woman and her 2-year-old child were attacked on Wednesday, according to authorities.

According to officials, the incident occurred in the 20900 block of Manon Lane.

Authorities said both victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

FOX 26 spoke to a witness who explained what happened and what she saw.

No further details have been announced officially.

Authorities are asking all pet owners to keep their dogs on a leash. Even dogs that are not on a leash should be trained to stay on a leash in public places.
