Scotty McCreery kicks a fan out of his show for allegedly hitting a woman

During a performance at the Colorado State Fair on Saturday evening (August 24) Scotty McCreery immediately ended his show after not even playing a full song after apparently witnessing someone in the audience punch a woman. During his opening song, “It Matters to Her,” the country star stopped singing to denounce the alleged assault. In fan-taken videos of the incident, McCreery can be heard shouting into the microphone while pointing at the fan in question, “Hey, hey, hey, right here. That's a woman you just hit, sir. No way. Who just hit the woman?” McCreery then called security to kick the offending fan out of the show, while also inquiring if the victim was OK. “Tell the cop who hit the woman. That is absolutely unacceptable. Whoever you are, that is the definition of a coward to hit a woman. Get out, man.” McCreery is currently on tour to promote his new album. Rise and fall.
