Colorado sports journalist gives final record prediction for the 2024 Buffs

Colorado Buffaloes Wire writers have made two record predictions for the 2024 season. I myself predicted a nine-win season in February and editor-in-chief Jack Carlough predicted eight wins this month. To make sure we weren't biased, we looked for more record predictions from sportswriters and Scott Procter of The Coloradoan gave his assessment on Tuesday.

As Buffs fans eagerly await the start of head coach Deion Sanders' second season in Boulder, they are looking for answers to burning questions about the roster and what we can expect from the team. Procter answered those questions in a mailbag for Colorado Football and offered an optimistic prediction about the final outcome.

Procter projects Colorado to start the season 5-0 before likely suffering its first loss to Kansas State. After that, he predicts the Buffs will win every game except Utah and Oklahoma State.
