Fremont Police and Nebraska State Patrol investigate fatal accident

FREMONT, Nebraska (KOLN) – The investigation is ongoing after Fremont police were called to a fatal crash Wednesday afternoon.

Shortly before 1:40 p.m., officers responded to 20th and Broad Streets for a report of an injury accident. Fremont police said a preliminary investigation found one fatality.

The Nebraska State Patrol has been contacted to assist with the ongoing investigation.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
