CTSN Announces Guest for Show “Hey Coach” with Kalen Deboer

Saturdays in the fall are the most important time of the year in Tuscaloosa, as the entire city comes to a standstill when the Tide plays. There are currently three days until the start of the Alabama Crimson Tide football season with new head coach Kalen Deboer. The second most important time of the year was Thursday nights at Baumhowers Victory Grille, when CTSN hosted its “Hey Coach” radio show with former head coach Nick Saban.

The Baumhower Victory Grille is located at 500 Harper Lee Drive near the Alabama campus.

Despite Saban's departure from the Tide, Deboer will be a guest on CTSN's “Hey Coach” radio show at Baumhower's every week during football season. One major change is that “Hey Coach” will now be on Wednesdays rather than Thursdays, as was the case during Saban's tenure. The show remains at the same venue.

On Wednesday, August 28th, from 6:00-7:30 p.m., CTSN will host “Hey Coach” with Kalen Deboer live at Baumhowers, where fans will have the opportunity to tune in and listen to the new head coach answer questions and share his expectations for the upcoming season.

According to CTSN, Jalen Milroe will be a guest on the show this week. He plays quarterback for the Tide and will be a guest on CTSN's “Hey Coach” tonight at 7 p.m. at Baumhowers Victory Grille alongside his head coach Kalen Deboer. According to a CTSN post on X (formerly known as Twitter), Alabama volleyball head coach Rashinda Reed will also appear on the broadcast at 6:05 p.m. Alabama volleyball player Gabbi Leblanc will appear with her head coach shortly after at 6:20 p.m.

Milroe, who has been on every prestigious watch list imaginable – most recently on the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose watch list last Wednesday – will be on the show tonight with his head coach and will tell fans what the redshirt junior Qb thinks about the team the Tide has this year and what expectations he has not only for himself but also for his teammates.

Tune in to Tide100.9 for CTSN’s first “Hey Coach” of the fall with Kalen Deboer at 6 p.m.
