Greenville police search for missing elderly man

GREENVILLE, NC (WITN) – Police in an eastern Carolina city are asking for help in locating a missing man.

Greenville Police said 83-year-old Harry Thompson Jr. has not returned to his Dovedale Drive home since around 11 a.m. Tuesday morning. Police say they have credible information that he was in the area of ​​Thomas Langston Road around 10 a.m. Wednesday morning.

According to police, Thompson often leaves his house, sometimes for several days at a time. Family members say he sometimes becomes disoriented.

Thompson is driving a gray Nissan Rogue with license plate RHY4217. If you see him, you are asked to call police at 252-329-4300.
