Four dead after transporter accident in Alvord

ALVORD, Texas (KAUZ) – Four people were killed in a minibus crash in Alvord, Texas, Wednesday morning.

According to Wise County Emergency Services, 11 people were hospitalized following the car crash on U.S. 287, about 45 miles northwest of Fort Worth.

First responders described the severity of the injuries as ranging from minor to critical.

Investigators are trying to find out why the minibus left the highway.

The investigation revealed visible tire tracks that led from the roadway to the shoulder.
