Sheldon's Jay Schelp Community Theater is presenting a horror/mystery/comedy show this weekend

Sheldon, Iowa — Celebration Days is just around the corner. That means it's time for another Jay Schelp Community Theatre production.

Ken Ven Huizen explains to us why it is called Jay Schelp Community Theatre.

This weekend the theatre company is performing “Beware The House on Haunted Hill”. Ven Huizen tells us about it.

He says there will be some veterans who are familiar to local audiences, but also some new actors.

VenHuizen says the show will take place on Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1. The Saturday night show starts at 7:30 p.m. and the Sunday show starts at 2 p.m., both in the Sheldon High School auditorium.

Ven Huizen made his comments on the KIWA Talk Of The Town program, which can be heard weekdays on KIWA-FM 105.3. The podcast of every Talk Of The Town episode, including this one, can be found on kiwaradio.com.
