Another Alicia Silverstone? Ludacris scares fans by drinking unfiltered water

Ludacris is the latest celebrity to scare fans by taking a potentially dangerous substance in an Instagram video.

The Fast X The 46-year-old actor shared on Instagram on Monday, August 26, that he had accomplished something from his “fuck it” list. In the video, he is seen filling his bottle from a glacial water pool and explains: “I have never tasted fresh glacier water in my life. And this is a first.”

“Listen man, half the glaciers in the world are here in Alaska so I couldn't just come and do a show,” he said before scooping water from a large pool behind him. “Oh my God! Oh!” Ludacris screamed after taking a sip before running out of frame. He captioned the video, “Water 💧 So good it tastes like GOD made it. Well because he did 🙏🏾 ❄️.”

His fans were quick to flood his comments with concern, with one posting: “Be careful with glacier water! Even though it looks fresh and clean, it is often full of bacteria, parasites and viruses… microorganisms you definitely don't want in your body.”

One fan joked, “Luda, I feel like there's polar bear piss in that water,” but most of the comments were more serious, like, “Why does that look dangerous?” Another Instagram user commented, “I thought you weren't supposed to drink still water. Is it safe?”

Ice Cube's son, O'Shea Jackson Jr., also expressed concern for the rapper. He reposted his video on X (formerly known as Twitter) and asked, “…how long ago was this and did we have him under surveillance?”

The disturbing video came a week after Alicia Silverstone terrified her fans by eating a mysterious fruit she picked from someone's front garden during a trip to England. The video was shared on TikTok and went viral.

“OK, I discovered something I don't know what it is and I need your help,” she said in the video before taking a bite and adding, “I don't think this is allowed to be eaten.”

To the fans' relief, Ludacris noticed the whole concern quicker than Silverstone and responded just a day later. He reached out to X to reassure everyone that he was OK and alive. “Listen, man, I'm here. I feel like Superman,” he said.

He also raved about the glacier water, saying, “Yo, to everyone who asked me what this glacier water really tasted like, and I have to say, being a water snob, it was the best water I've ever had in my life.”

“When I drank it, it felt like every cell in my human body was hydrated and rejuvenated at the same time. After that, I had the most amazing show in Alaska. Just got to Minneapolis. We have a show tomorrow…” he said, before thanking his fans for all the love. “There are different ways of life. I'm just trying to take you all places and show you things.”
