RCMP investigates murder at Edmonton Corn Maze – Edmonton

One person is dead after a stabbing at the Edmonton Corn Maze on Tuesday evening.

The stabbing occurred around 7 p.m. in the corn maze on Highway 627 near Range Road 262 on the southwest outskirts of Edmonton.

Police said that when officers arrived, an adult victim was found dead.

The suspect remained at the scene and was arrested. Police said the suspect and the victim knew each other. Details about the victim's identity were not released by police.

The serious crimes unit of Alberta's Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has now taken over the murder investigation.

Anyone who was in the corn maze between 5 and 7 p.m. Tuesday is asked to call Parkland RCMP at 825-220-7267.
