B. Riley lenders extend financial report deadline, Bloomberg News reports

(Reuters) – Lenders to B. Riley Financial have given the company more time to file a past-due financial report while the investment bank looks for ways to reduce its more than $2 billion debt load, Bloomberg News reported on Wednesday.

The bankers have lifted B. Riley's requirement to file financial reports within 45 days of the end of the last quarter, the report said, citing people familiar with the matter.

The additional time will be used to discuss changes to B. Riley's loan agreements that would give the investment bank more flexibility, the report said.

B. Riley did not immediately respond to Reuters' request for comment.

The company's shares fell 4.8% to $5.47 in morning trading.
