Victim identified after fatal accident on Old State Line Road

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A 42-year-old Monclova man died in a crash on Old State Line Road Wednesday night.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Michael A. Dennis was driving a 1994 Dodge Dakota west near Wilkins Road when he left the left side of the road and struck a utility pole before the vehicle came to a stop in a nearby soybean field.

Dennis was found dead at the scene when he was discovered around 7:30 a.m. in Harding Township.

Alcohol and failure to wear a seatbelt are considered possible causes of this accident. The accident remains under investigation.
