Community mourns police officer from Lebanon

August 28, 2024 – The Lebanon Police Department is saddened to announce the death of Officer Brendan Myers, who was involved in an off-duty vehicle accident on Aviation Way on August 27.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol has been asked to investigate the cause of the accident.

“Officer Myers was incredibly passionate about serving this city and its citizens, and his love for this community was evident through his daily actions as a police officer. It is times like these that remind us how close-knit our community is,” Lebanon police wrote on social media.
