Johnstown man wanted for assault

Look around: Police in Upper Yoder Twp. in Cambria County are searching for this man who allegedly attacked his 85-year-old mother and left her in critical condition at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.

Police said they were called to Alberta Avenue around 2:20 a.m. this morning regarding an alleged assault that they believe occurred just before midnight.

They say the suspect, 62-year-old Joseph Ambrosini, fled before they arrived. He was last seen at approximately 2:10 a.m. at the Medical Center in a black 2023 Nissan Sentra with PA license plate MNX-7105.

Police advise people to be cautious if they see him and to contact the authorities immediately.
