Part of I-69 reopened after nighttime car crash near Potterville

EATON COUNTY, Mich. (WILX) – I-69 northbound is reopened after being closed for hours early Wednesday due to an accident.

The accident occurred near Hartel Road, south of Potterville, shortly after 2 a.m.

Michigan State Police (MSP) told News 10 that two vehicles were involved in the crash and that someone fled the scene after the accident.

It is not known as of Wednesday morning whether anyone was injured.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call Lieutenant Gonzalez of MSP at 517-898-1223.
