Angelina Jolie's father Jon Voigt has spoken out about his daughter and Brad Pitt's divorce drama and begged the two to find a way to put an end to it.

“I wish they would find a way to make peace,” he told Fox News Digital.

“You know, I think the kids need some stability. I love the kids and I love my daughter. And I want Brad to step up and do what he needs to do. Enough of this nonsense.”

The 85-year-old actor, who is promoting his upcoming film “Reagan,” in which he plays a former KGB agent, also admitted that he doesn't have as much time with his grandchildren as he would like.

Angie (49) and Brad (60) have six children – Maddox (23), Pax (21), Zahara (20), Shiloh (18) and 16-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

In 2022, the “Maleficent” star was granted sole custody of her children after Brad was briefly granted joint custody.

Brad was granted “custody time” with his children. The current custody status is unclear, but Shiloh has made it clear that she wants nothing to do with her father.

A Los Angeles court granted her request to change her name from Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie. She filed the request on May 27, the day she turned 18.

Jon's relationship with his famous daughter has been strained for decades, partly due to his habit of talking about her private life.

According to a source, father and daughter are not currently speaking to each other.

“Despite previous attempts at reconciliation, Jon's loose lips have caused Angie to cut off contact again,” a source told In Touch Weekly.

Last month, he criticized his daughter, a widely respected humanitarian and former UN ambassador for refugees, after she called for a ceasefire in the war between Israel and Hamas.

“She was exposed to propaganda,” he told Variety.

“She was influenced by anti-Semitic people. Angie has a connection to the UN and enjoys working on behalf of refugees. But these people are not refugees.”

Jon's divorce from Angie's mother, the late actress Marcheline Bertrand, allegedly because he cheated on her, was reportedly a driving force behind their falling out.
