Mobile man wanted for multiple sexual abuse

MOBILE, Alabama (WALA) – An urgent search is underway for a Mobile man accused of multiple sexual assaults.

39-year-old Adam Renk is wanted by the Mobile Police and the US Marshalls Fugitive Task Force.

On multiple charges of sexual abuse and possible new charges.

FOX10 News first reported on Renk last week when he was arrested and charged with sexually abusing and torturing an 11-year-old child.

He has since been released on bail.

A law enforcement agency from another state contacted the MPD after learning that Renk was arrested this month.

We were told they had new information on the cases in Mobile.

According to police, he was released from jail on bail before they could add new charges.

A Midtown neighbor who wished to remain anonymous says she was shocked to hear the disturbing allegations.

“When it happened, when I came home the other day and the police cars were there, I was totally shocked,” she said. “I was just shocked. I just couldn't believe it.”

According to court documents, Renk had a torture room and tied the child to a wall.

According to the documents, Renk beat the child with a paddle for sexual reasons.

The neighbor says she never suspected this alleged behavior.

“Never. I mean, very quiet, like I said, no parties, very few visitors at his house, just like I said, it was a shock,” she said. “What totally freaked me out was the torture room. I couldn't believe it. It was like wow. You'd think you'd see signs of it.”

Renk's new charges include first- and second-degree sodomy and first- and second-degree sexual abuse.

The neighbor says she thinks he is on the run.

“I came home the other day, the day after he got out of prison, and he came home. He had a little RV and a Jeep there and he was packing everything up like crazy. He and his girlfriend packed everything up. They packed everything up and drove off.”

Investigators also arrested Natasha Still and charged her with aggravated child abuse.

According to police, Renk nevertheless allowed the girl to be beaten.

According to court documents, Renk pleaded not guilty and requested a preliminary hearing.

The hearing was scheduled for October 10.
