Dilly Carter ‘traumatized’ after health scare during cancer rehabilitation

Dilly Carter is “traumatized” after being hospitalized with stomach problems.

The Sort Your Life Out star, best known for her appearances on girlfriend Stacey Solomon's show, announced last year that she had been diagnosed with stage one uterine cancer and gave her fans another health update during her recovery journey.

Alongside a photo of herself with a drainage tube, she wrote: “My long weekend in Brighton didn't go quite so well… my stomach wasn't playing along.”

“I had to have it drained because I was suffering from a blockage.

“The procedure was quite traumatising and I was unable to concentrate as I still have a tube in my nose that goes straight into my stomach and drains excess fluid…

“It's been a while since I was speechless. But this literally took my breath away and my speech away, it was such an ordeal.”

Fortunately, she is “feeling better” after the treatment, Dilly revealed, but she is shaken.

She added: “Thankfully I've been feeling better since the procedure, but wow. I hope this is the first and last time I ever have to go through this.”

She also sent a strong message to other people whose health is suffering “after cancer” or any other illness, telling her followers that they are “not alone.”

In another post, she wrote: “Just a shout out to anyone who is experiencing ongoing health issues after cancer or any other serious illness.

“I see you, I feel you, I know how exhausting and tiring it is.

“You are not alone… I feel much better than I look. As soon as this tube is out today, I will be home and everything will be back to normal.”

Dilly, 42, missed an episode of Stacey's Decluttering Show filmed in October 2022 when she underwent major surgery to remove her cancer.

When the 2023 episode aired, she said: “I had just been released from hospital after having major surgery to remove the cancer and my entire reproductive system. I obviously couldn't film, so I was so grateful that someone could step in.”
