Two people injured in stabbing at restaurant in South Fort Worth, police say

Two people were injured in a stabbing at a restaurant in south Fort Worth on Friday evening, police said.

Shortly after 6:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Chicken Express in the 3800 block of Altamesa Drive. They found two victims with stab wounds, officials said. One of the victims was seriously injured, the other in critical condition, according to MedStar.

The victims were taken to a local hospital for further treatment. Their injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, according to police.

The investigation is ongoing. The police said the circumstances of the stabbing are still unclear. Criminal investigators have been notified.
