Despite the film's modest success in theaters, the upcoming OTT release is expected to give it a second chance to reach viewers who missed it during its theatrical run.

In Pavi Caretaker, Dileep plays the lead role of Pavithran, better known as Pavi, a caretaker in a housing complex in Kerala. Unmarried Pavi lives with his dog “Bro” in the house of ex-cop Mariyamma. The film also has a diverse cast including Swati Konde, Rosmi, Joohi Jayakumar, Dilina, Spadikam George, Radhika Sarathkumar, Johny Antony, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Shreya Rukmini, Jinu Ben and Deepu G Panicker.
