On camera: Pakistani woman behaves shockingly after fatal accident

A video of a smiling and unrepentant Pakistani woman after a car accident that killed two people has sparked outrage on social media. On August 19, Natasha Danish, wife of prominent businessman Danish Iqbal, was driving a Toyota Land Cruiser on Karsaz Road when she tried to make a turn.

The next moment, it rammed several vehicles, including motorcycles and a parked car, resulting in the death of a father and his daughter on the spot. At least four other people were injured and taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. One of the victims is now on a ventilator, his family said, according to MM News.

Even more shocking, however, was Natasha's behaviour after the accident, captured on videos that have since gone viral on social media. Footage shared on X shows Natasha, surrounded by an angry mob, smiling and boasting about her family's influence. “Tum mere baap ko nahi jantay (you don't know who my father is),” she was heard saying.

“No regrets,” one user commented on X.

Another user wrote: “Throw her behind bars and treat her like any other prisoner.”

One person said: “She drugged a poor and innocent father and daughter and killed them. The evil smile on her face says, hey, simple and poor Pakistani, 'you know who I am'.”

“It is shameful how #Natasha flaunts her wealth and arrogance while mocking Pakistan's laws and legal system. This is the elite's disregard for responsibility while the poor face jail, imprisonment and fines,” one comment said.

Another demanded that they be “brought to justice as suspected criminals.” “Otherwise, the farce of this system will only multiply.”

Natasha Danish avoided court appearances after the fatal car crash, citing mental health issues. Her lawyer Amir Mansub claimed that Natasha's mental health was “not stable” and that she was being treated at Jinnah Hospital. However, hospital records contradicted this claim and showed that Natasha was discharged as healthy after medical examinations. According to MM News, doctors did not see the need for immediate psychiatric intervention.
