Man wanted for firing a weapon during a DUI incident in Gloucester County

GLOUCESTER CO., Va. – The Gloucester County Sheriff's Department is searching for a man who allegedly pulled out a gun and fired it after colliding with a car on George Washington Memorial Highway on Friday.

Shortly before 9 p.m., a 78-year-old driver was struck by a Chevrolet Surburban. The victim followed the suspect and simultaneously called the sheriff's office.

The suspect, described only as a white male, then pulled out a gun and began firing into the air before fleeing the scene.

No one was injured and no property damage occurred.

The investigation is ongoing.
